Starting center Marc Gasol is playing at a very high level for the Grizzlies just like his brother did before moving on to the Lakers. The Grizzlies want to keep this Gasol in town for a long time as he is looking like a player to build around. Gasol has played in 18 games (all starts) for the Grizzlies this season and he is averaging 35.7 minutes, 15.4 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.7 blocked shots per game. He is also shooting a stunning 63% from the floor this season. If the Grizzlies are to turn things around this season a big reason for it will likely be the play of Gasol.
