The Grizzlies have waived veteran point guard Damon Stoudamire. The Grizzlies decided that Mike Conley and Kyle Lowry can handle he point guard position so that’s why they let Stoudamire go. Stoudamire played in 29 games (all starts) this season for the Grizzlies and he averaged 21.5 minutes, 7.3 points, 2.4 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game. He also didn’t shoot too well as he only hit 39.7% of his shots from the floor. Stoudamire should have no problem finding a new job as a lot of teams could use a veteran point guard.
