The Memphis Grizzlies waive Alexander Johnson
The Grizzlies have waived power forward Alexander Johnson after his rookie season. It came as a little bit of a surprise as Johnson played pretty decent for the Grizzlies. Johnson played in 59 games (19 starts) for the Grizzlies and he averaged 12.8 minutes, 4.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 0.3 assists. Johnson shot 53.8% from the floor and 66.1% from the free throw line as a rookie. Johnson will have no problem finding a new job for next season as decent big men are hard to find.
