Poor 4th quarter dooms Grizzlies in 112-96 loss to the Spurs in San Antonio

Blogged under Game Recaps, Front Page by Nothing but Net on Saturday 27 January 2007 at 2:55 pm

The Grizzlies played poor defense last night as they allowed the Spurs to hit 60.8% of their shots from the floor. They also were outscored 31-15 by the Spurs in the 4th quarter and that did them in last night. Pau Gasol sat the game out with a minor injury which opened the door for Hakim Warrick to get a start. Warrick made that start count as he rolled up 27 points and 7 rebounds. Eddie Jones had a rare good game with 17 points and 6 rebounds.

The Grizzlies fell to 11-33 on the season with this loss. http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=270126024
